Review

Ree Drummond is known as "The Pioneer Woman". Ree had years of living in Los Angeles. She then visted her hometown in Oklahoma. Then started a new exciting life in Chicago. In Oklahoma she me a mysterious cowboy who was a strict vegetarian. Now she lives with her husband and family on a ranch in the middle of nowhere. "The Pioneer Woman Cooks" is more than just a cookbook. It is a collection of photographs, rural stories and delicious recipes. It defines Ree's experience in the country. The recipes have been "cowboy-tested" such as Rib-Eye Steak with Whiskey Cream Sauce, Lasagna, Fried Chicken, Patsy's Blackberry Cobbler, Cinnamon Rolls and several "cowgirl-friendly" dishes such as Sherried Tomato Soup, Olive Cheese Bread, and Creme Brulee.
