This movie is about three stories about the world of opioids. First a drug trafficker arranges a multi-cartel Fentanyl smuggling operation. Secondly an architect recovering from an OxyContin addiction finds that her son is involved with narcotics. Thirdly a university professor finds out that his research employer runs a drug company that influences government to create a "non-addictive" painkiller. The talented cast includes: Luke Evans as Bill Simmons, Evangeline Lilly as Claire Reimann, Armie Hammer as Jake Kahane, Gary Oldman as Dr. Tyrone Brower, Michelle Rodriguez as Supervisor Garrett, Mia Kirshner as Untitled, Sam Worthington as Untitled, Indira Varma as Madira Brower, Greg Kinnear as Dean Geoff Talbot, Lily-rose Depp as Emmie Kelly, Toni Garrn as Sarah, Martin Donovan as Lawrence Morgan, Michael Aronov as Minas, Veronica Ferres as Meg Holmes and Kid Cudi as Ben Walker.
