Although the lawsuit side of things was interesting I think it was the relationships that Zuckerberg had with the people around him that is the real source of intrigue.

Mark Zuckerberg (played by Jesse Eisenberg) is a computer programming genius from Harvard that creates something from nothing in his dorm room. His creation is a global social network that changes the world. He changes from a geek to a businesss man, both losing friends and gaining new contacts along the way. His co-founder Eduardo Saverin is played wonderfully by Andrew Garlfield. In a brief role, Justin Timberlake makes an impact as Sean Parker, a mentor to Zuckerberg.

"What I enjoyed the most were the scenes when Mark's company is in the inception phase. He describes his ideas to his friends and gets inspiration from the university environment around him"

The 120 minutes goes by very quickly. I guess what Mark Zuckerberg created affected a lot of people and so this origin story was always going to appeal to us.
