This is the life of liberal ex-hippy parents Steven and Elyse Keaton. They have a son, Alex. Daughters Mallory and Jennifer and youngest child Andrew. The story lines are quite innovative with a comedic vide that creates laugh out loud moments. The writing in this series was superb. Each show usually ends in a sort of serious resolution or compromise. The audience also learns a lesson or two with each show. Family Ties also helped launch the careers of Michael J. Fox and Justine Batemen. Alex Keaton (played by Michael J. Fox) will be remembered as a pesky hilarious character hehe.
