Ignored and underestimated, Marty Mauser is driven through hell and back as he fights to prove his dream (Ping Pong Champio) and himself—worthy. Timothy Chalamet may get the oscar. This performance is just another one of his superior works. If you think about it, Chalamet hasn't put a foot wrong in his career. His previous portrayal of Bob Dylan in Complete Unknown was magnifcent.
