This show describes the lives and work of the staff of a successful Los Angeles law firm. The dialogue sometimes contained Lawyer jargon but the audience were able to follow the storylines. This show had some tense dialogue that sometimes resulted in physical fights. This series taught you about law suits and the internal going's on of a law firm quite well. The main characters were charismatic and memorable. Some episodes were also about the relationships within the firm. A lot of future american TV series that were set in the office borrows from L.A. Law. "Suits" (2011) comes to mind. The tension is Suits also resulted in physical fights and there was also inter-office relationships.
