This show was originally about a working mom raising her three sons alone. Her husband is a pilot and is always away. But Valerie Harper left the series. Her role was filled by Sandy Duncan as the boys' aunt. Jason Bateman's career started in this show. He had a particular sharp dead pan style of humour that he still uses in his movie roles to this day. The brothers (Josh Taylor and Dan Ponce) were also funny. Valerie Harper and Sandy Duncan also deserve a mention. We only saw Jeremy Licht every so often but he also contributed to a great cast.
