Billy (Vince Vaughn) and Nick (Owen Wilson) are middle-aged salesmen whose careers collapse when their company goes under. Realizing their skills are outdated in a tech-driven world, they take a wild leap and apply for a highly competitive internship at Google—despite having almost no technical knowledge. They somehow get in and find themselves surrounded by brilliant, much younger interns who live and breathe code, apps, and algorithms. The internship is structured as a team competition, where only the top group will land full-time jobs. Billy and Nick are clearly the underdogs. Instead of trying to out-tech everyone, they rely on what they do have: people skills, teamwork, confidence, and old-school charisma. Along the way, they clash with arrogant rivals, bond with their quirky teammates, and slowly prove that experience and emotional intelligence still matter in the modern workplace.
