Tom lives in San Francisco's chinatown with his grandmother. She turns out to be the "guardian of the phoenix egg". The grandmother then perishes in battle. Tom then gets mentored by Mr. Hu (a real tiger). Tom must become the egg's new protector. The full cast includes: Henry Golding as (voice), Sandra Oh as (voice), Brandon Soo Hoo as Tom The Tiger's Apprentice, Bowen Yang as (voice), Sherry Cola as (voice) and Kheng Hua Tan as (voice).
